Re: Drilling holes in grab rail



I agree with going to the top rack for additional support, but you reminded
me of something else about the top rack.  Would somebody mind explaining why
the Triumph top rack has "Max Load  5 Kg (11lb)" cast right into the metal?

Call me stupid, but I never could quite understand this, especially since
the top rack is designed to support the 45 litre Topbox, which on its own
has to weigh at least half of that, if not more.  What do they expect you to
carry in the Topbox ---- feathers??  Or did I miss something?  Maybe the
load limit only applies to the single crossmember that has this written on
it???  I think not, so what gives?
