Answer is: There is no way of telling, so have 2 or 3 (1 for the car, 1 for
the bike, etc...) around and compare readings, or check yours against a
friend's. Tire pressure gauges are not exactly expensive. I like the
dial-type gauges , but the pen variety are more durable and fit nicely in a
toolkit.
