I have used WD-40 to remove the sticker goo from MANY motorcycles
without any negative effects. I always heat the sticker with a hair dryer
prior to removal, and then use a soft cloth (cotton baby diapers are great)
with the WD-40. This works far better than the "Goof-off" products or any
other stuff I have tried.
