Interesting. Page 92 of the Owners Handbook (the little book that came under
the seat of my blue '00 ST) lists both the ST and RS gearing with the final
driver ratio of 43/19.
I can't find a Revision number on the book, but the book is from Triumph
Motorcycles America Limited.

Also, wasn't there a thread at one time showing that the '00 RS and '00 ST
had different part numbers for replacement chains and sprockets? Yep, I just
found it (see text below).

Searching the archive a few folks have replaced a 19 front with a 17 front
on a '00 ST.  Do you still have the old sprocket and could you count the
teeth? If not, then one of these days I'll have to pull off the plastic and
sprocket cover and count my bikes teeth.
