Re: Triumph-branded Veto alarm vs the Scorpio alarm

I have the Datatool or "Triumph" alarm on my Trophy. It has a few very
nice features. The keyfob is cool. I like the self arming feature. Get off
the bike, walk away it arms itself in 30 seconds, if it goes off it will
of course rearm its self, and you get a fast blinking light to indicate it
has been set off. It also has a "ferry mode" whereby you can do anything
to the bike except start it with out the alarm going off. The uncool
features are; it set's itself after 30 seconds, (I think you can adjust
this though) which is a pain if you are getting gas or futz'n with baggage
or such. But I recommend it highly.
