RE: Fork Stress?

I was kinda thinking someone ought to try this and have it inspected using NDE 
methods, such as magnetic partical or Dye penetrant.  This would indeed answer 
the question.  BTW, I plan to leave mine stock because it doesn't show road 
grime as much as polished would and I'd rather be riding than polishing.
