RE: Fork Stress

I have the same phenomena on my fork and have pondered it a bit. Does anyone
know if the bikes are shipped to the US with the front wheel mounted?

comments on stress/strain are well taken. If the wheel is sent unmounted,
perhaps
the pinch bolt is clamped too hard for shipment, that strain would cause the
stress
marks in the paint.
