Fork Stress?? More comments!!

I must admit I hadn't looked at the backside of the fork. I will be working
on the beast, tonight, so I will have a look and let you all know, tomorrow.
My dealer says they should have some sort of response from Triumph by weeks
end.

My bike has 16,000 kms (10,000 miles) and the front wheel has never been off
of the bike since I picked it up from the dealer. Still have the original
BT57 on there. Wear bars are about 1/32" away from the surface. Serial
number is 079425.

My buddy who has the same problem is having his fork leg replaced by the
local dealer under warranty. His wrinkling showed up early last season.
Apparently, the dealer had to convince Triumph that there could be a
problem. The factory (or maybe Triumph USA?) finally agreed to supply a
fork leg.

Also, someone suggested that this could be caused by brake fluid. In a nut
shell...NO.

As far as the paint having flex added to it...My perspective is that if the
fork is flexing enough to move the paint around it is moving too much for my
comfort.
