This would vary by country. In the US there would be nothing to change on
the registration, it would more than likely be covered by insurance (unless
a specific clause existed in the policy to the contrary) and it would not
void the warranty.

I know of one instance in this country where the insurance refused to pay
out on an rta because the changes made to the bike wasn't on the registration
details, and stated that those changes could have contributed to the
accident. Ann
