Proper headlight aiming....

Greetings again,

Is there a specification for properly aiming a Sprint ST's headlights, something 
that at least gets in the ballpark, ready for fine tuning? Something that specifies 
that the top of the low beam projection should be y-feet above the floor when 
the motorcycle is x-feet from a wall. My dealer, BMW/Triumph of Santa Cruz 
County, must not have checked or made any adjustments because the low 
beam only illuminates about 25 feet of road! Nothing quite as exhilarating as 
overdriving your headlights at only 15MPH!!
