My beautiful blue Booh is parked behind my office today, right next to
a Trophy. They look cute together... but I'm wondering if I'll find a
bunch of minor victories out there when I go home.
(ba Bum bum)
OK, OK, I'll stop now. But I do have a couple of questions.
For the first mile or so, it's basically impossible for me to shift out
of first gear... after that, it's a little stiff, but OK. Is this
just normal new bike stiffness?
I love the bike except when I'm trying to park it... then I'm reminded
of Abe Lincoln's famous quote that a man's legs should be just long
enough to reach the ground. Mine barely are. Would I be better off
talking to Corbin or Sargent? I'm not too far from Hollister, so I
could easily go down to Corbin and deal with them in person.
A few years ago I broke my thumb pretty badly in a car accident, and
it's not too fond of the Sprint's clutch lever. Is it possible to get
an adjustable one? Or even better, can I make the spring weaker? I
live in San Francisco, and there are seven stoplights and three stopsigns
on the 1-mile ride between home and office. I don't suppose the
Trophy's lever fits?
