Triumph branded riding gear....

Greetings to all,
This is my first official posting to the list. Though I do not at this time
have a motorcycle, I am leaning toward the purchase of a '00 blue Sprint ST.
(The other contenders are the Honda VFR800 Interceptor and the Honda ST1100.) I
have enjoyed reading the list's postings and have gathered important
information - the most important of which is no one has had any problems with
their motorcycles. It sounds as though the build quality is a good as any of
the Japanese manufacturers.
My first official question concerns Triumph branded leathers, "Cordura" riding
gear, and boots. I would sure like to hear from anyone who owns any of this
gear. How does it compare to any of the name brands. I am thinking that, should
I purchase a Sprint (very likely), I will also purchase riding gear and bags at
the same time.
Lastly, for those in the San Francisco area, what has been your experience with
the Triumph dealers. My first and only encounter with a Triumph dealer
(BMW/Triumph of Santa Cruz Co.) has been very positive, no pressure, and a 50
mile test ride. ("What, you're back already...?)
