Not through real thick gloves.. Olympia makes a mid weight that works well.

Absolutly the BEST is a Gerbings electric jacket liner.. Just get the 
thermostat or you'll get too warm! Nothing like having warm arms as 
well as torso. Gerbings has two models an insulated and a non  I've 
got the non insulated ( like a wind breaker) and I have yet to find 
any temp that I can't ride in comfortably.. And they warranty their 
stuff forever!
