Rallye Question '99 vs. '00 and colors

With the all the hot blood running around the mailing list right now (no,
please don't start flaming this smart a** remark), I thought I'd ask some
questions on the lighter side.

Did anybody at the Rallye get to prove that the '99s are quicker than the
'00s?  Also, what color was faster: red or black? (yes, flaming these
questions are OK)
