Jeff,

It most certainly will be covered under warranty. The person that declined 
it is Shell Barr - head of service for the US. I can only assume that your 
dealer did a poor job of explaining the problem. The person at the Rallye 
was Jerry Parrish - contact him at Peachtree City at 770.631.9500

He can also be reached at newtricorp@xxxxxxx, but with the dealer show 
going on, you may be better attempting contact by phone.

Remind him of your conversation and I am sure he will get the situation 
straightened out.
