New exhaust

Hi there,

I've had my ST now for just over 2 months. I totally love the bike
(especially compared to my previous bike: a Yamaha Diversion), and have
already driven 9000 km (6000 miles) with it!
I have the following question:
I'm thinking of buying the sport exhaust, I can choose between the carbon
one or the aluminium one. My dealer says they have the same performance and
the same sound. The carbon version is about $400 (1000 Dutch guilders), the
alu version is $100 (800 Dutch guilders) cheaper.
Does anyone have experience with either one (both?) of these exhausts? How's
the sound (the main reason for buying it)? The performance? (and ofcourse in
comparison to the default exhaust).
