Re: Sidestand Removal

On my race bike I simply cut the two wires above the kickstand switch and
wired them together. On the ST you could attach some connectors on the wires
to facilitate future removal/replacements of your kickstand.

Due to the requirements of the Bargy School, I have to remove my sidestand
(among other items) in order to participate.

I assume that the removal of the sidestand activates the "sidestand down"
sensor thereby killing the engine. Is my assumption correct? If so, what
is the proper way to remove the sidestand and bypass the electronic switch
thereby allowing the engine to run?
