Well, as I put on the site, the biggest problem with the pillion
modification is only encountered if you have the cowl. Sargent has to angle
the seat if you keep the cowl and that will cut down on passenger comfort
(of course it will still be better than stock), but for the few miles that
my wife has been on the new seat, I think she is very happy. I actually
went with a little extra foam in the pillion area and will modify the cowl
to fit the lines of the seat. She rides with me so infrequently that I had
to weigh my own wants against her complaints and hopefully I have achieved
some middle ground that will make us both happy.
