Ok, waited a day and saw no responses to this, so here goes....
Hinckley Triumph ownership experience
- - one Sprint('94), one T509 ('97) now the Sprint ST. All proved very reliable, and have not once broken down in service. T509 had no problems (other than valve clearances @ 10k);
Rating of Hinckley Triumph Customer Service
- - specific to my dealer, but would rate very highly.
Problems with Sprint STs
- - ST has a new throttle cable and front discs so far.
Joys of Sprint ST ownership
- - great bike, will ride it for a 1200km round trip over a weekend; more comfy, faster and uses half the fuel of my car.
Year 2000 model rumors
- - Sprint RS (1/2 faired) - could be a cure for heat problems, but I dont find this too bad on the ST. Any bike gets hot in town in summer!
Anything else of interest to a potential owner.
- - get one while the stocks last :) Oh, and black is of course much faster than the red ones!

All,
<snip>
What I hope to gather from this list is:
I recently returned a '71 Triumph Bonneville to the road after she sat in
storage for 10 years, so the sport-tourer will not be alone in my garage.

Thanks,
Jeff
