Break - In

I understand your concerns with the 3500rpm limit on the first hundred
miles.  When I picked up my bike I was about 80 miles from home with
many large hills inbetween the wind was gusting 40-50mph and it was
about 40degrees F.  No problem for the bike after break-in however,
quite unnerving on a brand new bike and tires.  Anytime I got up to
third gear I felt I was lugging and as soon as I downshifted to second I
was right at the 3500 rev limit.  Fortunately it's only 100 miles then
you get to zip up to 5k with all the breathing room that gives you.
