RE: in the Zone



 OK, I just have to put in my $.02. I really think that when you are "in the
zone" it has nothing to do with perceived ability. I can get there when I'm
feeling right and riding the right roads for me. I think when I'm there it
is a state where everything unrelated to the task at hand is gone. The world
is a pinpoint right where I am. My concentration level on riding the bike is
so intense that higher speeds seem to be pretty slow, it's like everything
starts to happen in slow motion and it is much easier for me to pick up on
things that might be a danger. Talk about a buzz. This is a natural high
that I live for. Hope everyone gets to feel it on occasion.
