    Wow, only 4500 miles from the rear tire?  Do you have a heavy throttle
hand and are you running the recommended 42 psi?  My tires don't show any
wear at 2700 miles (except at the edges where they "feather" during hard
cornering).  At any rate, in my experience the Dunlop 205s will not give the
cornering grip the stock Battleaxes do.  However, if you lean more toward
touring than sporting it may not make a difference.
